Symbology is good and all, but this year is gonna be exuberant and fun!
Hence, my new diary is called "3-2-1-letsdance"

The problem with my new year's day was that I was atrociously sick for the whole of it. I mean SERIOUSLY. I threw up and managed to plaster the toilet seat, cover, box, and even the back wall. I'm so heinously glad that I refused to stay at some lovely people's house because I'd have been quite the handful!
So tomorrow (Thursday) will be my new year's day. I'm sure I'll be well enough to think upon the day as a new beginning instead of a nightmare that I wish only to sleep through.

Symbology is important to me. And so the dawning of 2008 is an important time in my life. It's not just another day, it's a fresh new year where past mistakes can be left behind. It's a new chance to grow. As part of that symbol, I'm discontinuing Water-To-Air. The theme of this diary was a year of pulling myself together, in a sense recreating myself and learning to stand again. The name came from a song I'd posted earlier, in a chorus which went "Fall back again. Crawl from the warm water. Water to air. You're on your feet again, your feet again." I meant something to me... probably more than the song intended, but hey. But while I was mercurial, the events, scenarios, and environments around me stayed the same. Sam dramas, same places, etc. And I've neglected my spirituality, replacing it with a love of the material and the commercial. I'd like to move away from that. So this year for me is a Year of Change, and a year whereupon I build from the foundations and strengths I've already made for myself. I've just tried to get the name I've wanted and it's taken. And so is every permutation of that name, so I'll tell everyone what the new name is soon.

I was going to tell everyone and wrap it up in a parable, or some life lesson, or just insight into Iain-world. But nothing really fit...
Errol knows that I failed university. He's fine with it, and is waiting patiently for me to decide what to do. I'm going to need a while to exactly what that is, and probably try and get that Warehouse job that's a good possibility. I may go back to Uni, I may go to WinTec. I may even go to Melbourne for a while and come back when Errol goes on his Europe trip. Whatever I decide, I know you guys will accept it. You may not be happy about it and I'm sure I'll hear about it, but yeah. :) I do appologise for making so much out of this only to tell you two days later that nothing has changed, except that I'm no longer stressing out.
When I told Errol, all stress left. Until I find something else, the sun is shining. But for now all is good.
